Security Alert on EU’s Eastern Doorsteps

Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum has recently published a paper (and six accompanying papers on each Eastern Partnership country) analysing the Security challenges in the Eastern Neighbourhood region.
As the EU finalises its new Global Strategy, and NATO members prepare to address the challenges on the Alliance’s Eastern flank at the Warsaw Summit, the study assesses the security challenges facing NATO, the European Union, and the Eastern Partnership countries themselves, and the need to balance deterrence with engagement vis-à-vis Russia and, more importantly, for NATO to work closely with Georgia, Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries – to strengthen security for all through defence and deterrence.
The full study can be found here.
